PM: Those Who Can Defeat Hun Sen are Not Yet Born

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has said that until now, no one has been able to compete with, or defeat him, so it is possible that someone who has the ability to suppress him has not yet even been born.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony for students of the National Technical Training Institute in Phnom Penh on Monday morning, 27 February 2023, Prime Minister Hun Sen made mention of a "proud person" that appears to be challenging him, and said that if this person wants to play, then he can go ahead and try.

While the Prime Minister did not directly refer to anyone by name, he was likely referring to anti-government activist, Sorn Dara, who recently called himself a figure created by god to suppress Prime Minister Hun Sen.

On Saturday, 25 February, Prime Minister Hun Sen made a post on his official social media account asking Sorn Dara if he was ashamed to call himself an 'enlightened being' or to compare himself to 'eagle'.

The Prime Minister said that Sorn Dara, who says he can become a prime ministerial candidate, cannot even become a member of the CPP in the first place so his proud statements are all ridiculous.

"Just stop and go, nephew, I pity your parents who are trying to call their child back," said Prime Minister Hun Sen. "You cannot even help yourself, your desire to become the Prime Minister or suppress Hun Sen are just a dream."
